It’s been a couple of years. The COVID pandemic kept us from traveling and kept Mexico far from us. But finally, June, 2022 brought us back to Querétaro! Littleton Elementary School District sent eleven of their stellar educators to improve their Spanish language skills and get face-to-face with the culture. The response tells us they enjoyed it! Here're just 2 comments:
"It was an amazing experience from the cultural activities to learning the language. The program was very engaging and lots of fun."
"Olé is a wonderful opportunity to engage and grow in more than just your language skills. The program offers so many opportunities to be immersed in Mexican culture and you learn so much in the engaging classes but even more exploring and building relationships throughout your time in Querétaro. On top of being a safe and charming city, Querétaro offers so many cultural experiences you’ll never forget."

Querétaro seemed to be as busy as always. Lots of traffic in the city around Centro Histórico. Restaurants were filled. A few had closed, but all of our favorites were open and doing business. There is life after COVID, thank Goodness!

There is such joy in seeing old friends again! The teachers at Olé were thrilled to have us back. The staff, Sandra, Teo, Jose Luis , Rosie and Dulce - were all so happy to see us. Mexico, itself, seemed like an old friend waiting to welcome us.

Another of the students really summed up the experience: "Olé was an amazing experience that everyone must do! The staff, classes, culture events and homestay were ALL top notch! The care and dedication that the staff has for their programs, shines through each and everyone of them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than I had with Olé! "
